As you may already know designers from Paul Smith to Ralph Lauren have taken more than a little Islamic inspiration in their latest collections. Head wraps were a key trend this season and looking very chic. OK so their hair was sticking out but you can definitely get inspiration from them or at least take pride in the fact that (for this season at least) you’re a trend setter.
Me and My Hijab
Since becoming Muslim I tried a lot of different hijab styles, I’m definitely not an expert and I’m sure I’ve got it very wrong on some occasions! I guess it’s a similar thing to they ways I used to style my hair before I was Muslim, you go through phases and get used to the way you look in a particular style. But as long as I’m wearing my scarf, there’s no such thing as a bad hijab day!
