Japanese Style (Part 2)

Loose tops and long dresses make Japanese style perfect for Hijabis
Seems you guys can’t get enough Japanese style, I don’t blame you, I love it too! So as promised here’s the second part to my Japanese series.
Thanks Miya!
These photos are courtesy of my dear sister who’s working out in Japan. She sent back non-no (which these pics come from) and my very own Nippon Vogue which is very much like the English version but with a Japanese edge. non-no is Japanese through and through with Japanese trends galore, I only wish I could get it in the UK.

Hijabi Style influence: Japanese chic
Sweet Sweaters
Loose knitted Jumpers seemed to be the order of the day. Over shirts or frilly dresses, with so many different variations to choose from you’re spoiled for choice! I love the boxy blazer style jacket in the bottom left. If you wear it over a floaty Abaya or Maxi dress and a long scarf it will give you quirky super chic street style.

Hijab style: This is the perfect winter hijabi accessory
Hijab Trend
This Japanese style snood/scarf thingy is the nicest I’ve come across. It looks snuggly and warm, and makes me want to have winter back!
InshAllah I really want to start introducing knitwear into the Autumn/Winter collection for MAYSAA, Japanese girlies have given me more than enough inspiration!

Yaay another Japanese style post. Hana will you be having any one-piece or shirtdress in your collection?
I am from Malaysia and there is a Kinokuniya bookshop where I always go to find the Non-no magazine. I love the fashion in the magazine especially issues during Autumn and Winter, since they layer quite a lot and have tops with long sleeves, the clothes are suitable for muslimah. Thank you for posting this.
There is one shirt dress in the spring/summer collection and a couple of shirt style tops in the Autumn/Winter collection inshAllah. I’ve just finished making up one of them! If you see any Muslimah style in the magazine send the photos to my email hana@stylecovered.com and I’ll do another post!
