So I’m definitely not Nicole Richie’s biggest fan, but she has seemingly blossomed into a trend setter going from trashy to boho chic. When I came across this photo two things stood out to me…
First off the feminine but modest shape of the top, which would look equally gorgeous over loose trousers. It is hijab friendly and really striking. I don’t know if I’d go for such a bright colour, but in this instance it’s more girly than garish and the hint of print breaks up the colour and adds richer tones.
Secondly was the head piece. I can just imagine this being worn over a hijab, I love that detail and I guess it’s these details that take her into trend setter status.

I have admired Richies bohemian LA relaxed style for a couple of yrs ive always looked at her style and tried to see how i could make it more islamified…e.g her long dresses with a leather jacket thrown on top etc. Your comment about wearing the headpiece over the hijab?? Would you really recommend it?? Also could you possibly do a feature on your site sister??
