The bolero is a staple for Muslimah’s. It allows us to make maxi dresses and short sleeved tops in to hijab friendly outfits. But for a lot of us they don’t go much beyond a nice piece of knitwear or a jersey basic. Well now they’re back on the catwalk and looking revamped and glammed up. Whether you’re looking for a casual cover-up or a party piece, designers have been hard at work coming up with some chic reinventions of the bolero.

I absolutely love your site, it’s such a refreshing change from other Islamic fashion blogs out there. I like the tailored look of the garments you post and they’re compatible with the high street too.
Sister, I have a request to make! Will you post some comfortable (but not bland!) chic and edgy looking clothes for a college student (nothing too snaggy as I have to carry piles of stuff to and back from college including a laptop case as well as three heavy files, clothes easy to run around in as well as being Muslimah modest would be *so so so so so* useful!
