Sweet Spring

Loose clothing was a great canvas for Etro's gorgeous prints (images: imaxtree)
Muslimah Style Fashion
Etro always has interesting prints and colour combinations. This spring/summer is no different, but what sets it apart are the modest silhouettes. Long fluid lines, billowing gowns and boxy jackets put it firmly in to Muslimah territory.
The Prints
There is an air of Islamic art about their bohemian prints. Slightly sixties but without the garish colours, these patterns are much more sophisticated and cleaner than their retro paisley cousins. Primarily started as a textile company it’s no wonder that they have mastered the art of print and pattern, mixing themes from Oriental and Indian seamlessly. It’s the same with colour too, shades you would never think of putting together suddenly pop against each other whilst never looking out of place.

Loose Style
For Muslim women or anyone who loves modest style, long loose clothing is ideal, here dresses are truly loose and hide shape in their cut and prints. But it’s not all about their maxi dresses, they have a great selection of loose trousers and tunics too, not forgetting those boxy waistcoats and jackets. You know how much I love mixing contrasting shape and texture, so having the loose flow of prints teamed with a hard edged embellished jacket can only mean good things!
