Japanese Maxi
A maxi dress is a perfect addition to the modest fashion/Muslimah wardrobe, they’re lightweight, loose, and comfortable- a bit like wearing pajamas (but more socially acceptable!). Jersey maxi dresses are great for a bay on the beach and seriously comfy, they can be found everywhere this time of year and they are a look that everyone can pull off. To smarten it up just throw on a blazer (I love that look), or just wear a boyfriend style shirt over it and knot it at the waist (My look for the summer). I have a few maxi dresses and it’s great that they are so easy to find right now. The jersey ones feel too clingy though- if there’s any kind of a breeze, I can’t wear it. Advice, anyone?
