Hair Mask

Muslim adaptions
Hmm, so maybe change the rum for something a little more Muslimah friendly. I’ve had a little look and seen lemon juice (1 tsp), coffee and tea (1/4 cup) used for home hair mask remedies, just don’t use you’re favourite towel! Why not experiment, if anything hijabi’s are certainly not afraid of a bad hair day.

True about the bad hair day thingy but you still want you hair to look fabulous to those who are allowed to see it ;D
You think using rum for hair treatment is forbidden in Islam? I mean in Quran it says ”They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: say, “In them there is a gross sin, and some benefits for the people. But their sinfulness far outweighs their benefit.”
just wondering!!
love your blog![]()
I think the buying of it, if it’s not strictly medicinal is not allowed (because you’re giving money to that industry). Plus there are other options that will work just as well so it’s much better just to go with teas and fruit! Much yummier too!
Hmm, and also, if you have alcohol in the house, even if it is for hair purposes, you may be tempted? Anyway, a recipe like this is used in Pakistan and India too. My mom always told me to wash my hair with egg yolk and olive oil when I was younger. My mom’s cousins, who live in Pakistan have the most gorgeous, waist length, straight hair in the world and they’ve been using this recipe since they were 5 yrs old. They’re 25 now.
Hmmmm. I just might try this! thanks for sharing
I’m not even sure what purpose the rum has- check out a store like Lush and see what they put in their fancy masks- they use stuff like eggs, bananas and avocados…mmm!
All you need is a good apple vinegar hair rinse and some cold water and ur hair will be so shiny

in my opinion, if there is/are an alternative, why not skip the rum and use the alternative instead? (:
