I'm not even sure what purpose the rum has- check out a store like Lush and see what they put in their fancy masks- they use stuff like eggs, bananas and avocados...mmm!

Hmm, and also, if you have alcohol in the house, even if it is for hair purposes, you may be tempted? Anyway, a recipe like this is used in Pakistan and India too. My mom always told me to wash my hair with egg yolk and olive oil when I was younger. My mom's cousins, who live in Pakistan have the most gorgeous, waist length, straight hair in the world and they've been using this recipe since they were 5 yrs old. They're 25 now.

I think the buying of it, if it's not strictly medicinal is not allowed (because you're giving money to that industry). Plus there are other options that will work just as well so it's much better just to go with teas and fruit! Much yummier too!

True about the bad hair day thingy but you still want you hair to look fabulous to those who are allowed to see it ;D
You think using rum for hair treatment is forbidden in Islam? I mean in Quran it says ”They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: say, "In them there is a gross sin, and some benefits for the people. But their sinfulness far outweighs their benefit."
just wondering!!
love your blog :)
