Sunshine on a Rainy day…

The Search
Whilst in Paris I did briefly look in to the possibility of buying shades, you may know I am very indecisive about sunglasses. I have a pair I wore years ago before I became Muslim but tried them with my hijab and it looked really terrible. So searching for a shape to suit me meant looking at girls with similar faces and see what they were wearing.
My conclusion:
Big is Best
Too round means I look bug eyed
Too angular or rectangular doesn’t suit my lovely round head!
So these were my variations on a theme:

I would love your opinions in helping me choose! Although lets face it, I probably won’t be needing them for another 8 months. If you have any tips on sunglasses and face shape then I’d love to hear them. Just leave all your comments below!

I think the first one looks better on you .. I have the same problem and in eyeglasses also. since I wore hijab i can’t easily find a pair that fits my face and doesn’t stick out from the sides but eventually i find something suitable
good luck in your search ..
the third (last) one suits you the best i think
The last one is perfect <3 but, personally, i think you should push it down your nose a little bit … it would look better i guess
Is the first photo and the last photo the same pair? I really like that one. Very sophisticated and stylish. It looks great with your face shape and with the style of hijab you’re wearing.
i love the black glasses in the second picture. it is different, exclusive, and real statement because of its pretty unique rectangular shape. how bout you which you like the best?
I’m a huge sunnies fan! And also wear hijab.
I agree big is best, especially with the style of hijab you wear.
I think you should look into aviators. I love me some avvies. It was difficult to find one which suit my face shape (which is just slightly rounder than yours) but I did and I’m not letting it go. I like the thinner side because it does not misshapen my hijab too much.
As I don’t have high cheekbones or nose bridge, I also find that shades with dual tones which go from black (on top) to a more golden / silverish tinge (at the bottom) help create definition. I find this particularly useful especially with hijab which tends to expose my flat face. Heh.
My comments are based on a similar hijab-style as yours. I find that you will encounter different issues with the Turkish style.
I feel that the first two are two boxy and the third one suits you because of its circular frame.
