The Central St. Martins show is always good as an indication of up and coming trends. Working from grass roots and indulging in inspirational whims means that you get a lot of creativity.
This level of simplicity is brave for a designer to show in a first collection. I think it takes a lot of restraint and maturity to make a clever and simple statement. The shapes are beautiful.
Starting Something
This Autumn the St. Martins runway show had a lot of abaya like styles and modest influence. Whether it was intentional or just a beautiful accident here’s hoping this means a new generation of modest designers

agreed! love this blog..white background…(whole contents r so simple but catchy!) WE WANT MORE muslim design/ hijab to be crafted to the whole world especially at west! i have see those Hollywcelebs awarded the best dresss in academy award or whatsoever awards were all clothes that had muslims element like angelina jolie(green dress/longsleeves) Proven that West r now more into OUR FASHION WORLD. jaza kallah.
