Hijab Head Wear
Warm Winter

On snowy days like these a headscarf can be such a blessing. But if you want to take that toasty feeling to another level then delicate knits are the way to go. I cam across this ELLE editorial and fell in love with this modest maxi dress outfit. It’s beautifully simple and very hijab friendly, definitely on my Spring list.

Looking at pictures like these make me miss winter even more than I usually do. I’m from New England and loved layering looks like these in the winter. However, now I live in Southern California where neither fall nor winter EVER happen. I am so heartily sick of Spring/Summer fashion. Lokking at lovely pictures like this remind me of home….
What I really like about fashion nowadays is it’s getting more hijabi-friendly. Many top brands aren’t afraid to be different anymore by putting up almost-hijab products in their ads much like this one here -and tis surely tells us that we don’t need to show a lot of skin or our body figures and whatnot to look comfortable of ourselves or to look elegant and even sexy! I gotta thank Marie Claire for being the first non-Muslim mag to deliberately publish Muslim style that shows people how hijab isn’t a form of oppression and it can be fashionable yet modest at the same time -and I believe it surely has inspired other non-Muslim brands to do the same with their products!
Cheers for all your efforts in posting many cool stuff Hana, mashaAllah! =)
