The great thing about this jersey maxi dress is that it’s not too clingy, it can be done! I always try and cover up the straps at the top (I think I have a thing about it not layering well). Then I gravitated towards one of my favourite items in my wardrobe a stunning feathered waistcoat. I think it was made in Japan by a family friend. I just think it’s beautiful.

Very 1930’s Old Hollywood glamour. I found myself thinking of Carole Lombard when I looked at the pictures. I’m not sure if that was the look you were aiming for, but I like it.
Question though, is a waistcoat the same as a vest, or is there a subtle difference? I’m thinking that it’s just a U.K. vs U.S. language thing. Kind of like bathroom vs loo.
