How we Wear them
A mash up of Inspiration
Completing our maxi skirt feature here are some images I absolutely love. If sporty’s your thing then check out the Vogue ‘More Cash than Dash’ feature, although white may not be the most practical colour for a floor length skirt! Or if like me you love the mixed up stylings of Alexa Chung take this beauty for inspiration.
Sorry for the lack of posts, I’ve been so busy in London (including some lovely vintage shopping) preparing for the next Maysaa shoot. Confirmed an amazing team, I’m so looking forward to it, and you’ll be the first to get behind the scenes peeks too.

imo, you are like the only hijabi fashion blog out there worth reading. as a major fashion addict, other hijabi blogs make me want to cry. honestly, all they do is regurgitate whatever their cousins are wearing back in the middle east or w/e. as in tunic+jeans!/basic abaya!/tunic+jeans!/sporty abaya!/tunic+jeans!/wedding abaya! y’know? arggghh… it’s soooooo BORING.
i want edge! i want imagination! i want risk-taking!
i other words, i want Fashion.
you have a REAL handle on REAL fashion.
As in runway –> real life.thank you SO MUCH for doing fashion as it is meant to be done.
p.s. alexa chung’s outfit in that pic is Amazing.
Wow amelie, thank you so much, that’s quite a compliment! It’s true I have a style crush on Alexa Chung.
