Hijab and Denim
Bed Head
Yes I had just rolled out of bed and into my headscarf in these pictures, which is why I’m still wearing slippers! Ahh Paris memories, these got lost somewhere and I never got round to posting them, I love that denim shirt (even if it was bought from the mens section).
Wish I could give you more of an update on Maysaa, but giving a specific time sets me up to be inevitably wrong…. so I’m biting my tongue for now!

You look absolutely stunning here!! I love your outfit! I would also like to start up a fashion line for Muslimah’s Insha’ALlah, but I can’t draw like you!!! And I’m not very good at pattern making!!! So I guess I just need practice. You are truly an inspiration to me! I was attending FIT in NY and then I found out that I was pregnant so I decided to put my dreams aside for my baby!! Allhumdulillah, it’s been great, and now my son is 7months and I can’t imagine leaving him in the care of someone other then me! So thanks for your blog and inspiring me!! I tried to sign up here, but your not accepting at this time!! Keep up the amazing work sister!!! Your an amazing designer and I can’t wait for the launch of Maysaa…I’m in the U.S. so I’m hoping to do some online orders!!!! Zeba
I love the shirt, it fits really well considering its from the mens section lol.
i love the shirt. i always buy my shirts from the men’s section too! the shirts in the ladies’ section are always too short or too tight
sometimes the mens clothes are better
especially love mens v neck shirts always have a few
they cum in really hany as pjs or if an outfit goes wrong
Wow I can’t believe that jacket is from the men’s section! It tapers so well, almost like a feminine fit! And I love the setting of these pictures. Gorgeous

Thank you so much! It takes a lot of practice, if it helps, I’m mostly self taught (a lot of trial and error). So don’t let anything stand in the way of your ambitions, you did an amazing thing in having a baby! I put you in to the system, so inshAllah you’ll get the email. x
please! please! sign me up!!! i didnt get an email and i feel really left out.
I stumbled on your website a few weeks ago and i have never been so excited about finding new ways to dress modestly. I really want to change my look and suprise my husband. I have two children (youngest 6 months) and i really want to find myself again. May Allah SWT bless you abundantly, ameen.
Wow, you look so fabulous, Hana, as always!
I really like the denim jacket.
Wow I feel like I’m in a similar situation as Carolyn! I had exactly the same thoughts when I first found your blog, and In fact, I have two kids too youngest one also 6 months old! I find this outfit so Versatile because you can throw anything over a plain black abaya and it will look good, inshallah will be buying a maysaa one soon!

I love this look! Salam Hana, can you suggest your avid fans a few summer styles suited for the Muslim girl? It is steaming hot now in the UK and people are giving me weird looks for wearing long sleeves and long pants?
Thank you!
Don’t worry, I got your comments. As I said in the post I was deleting the comments after I signed you up so you’d know you were on the list. I’ll put your email in again but remember to check your spam just in case. x

Omgsh Hana, first off congratulations on the launch of Maysaa (altho I didn’t recieve an email notification either but oh well)Secondly, this is exactly what I wore the other week to uni. Crazy!! And my denim shirt is also from the men’s section (hence, boyfriend shirt hello!) lol it’s loose and comfy so I like it.
Anyway I shall properly browse the Maysaa website now lol <3
Just checked out the site Hana, amazing! A massive congratulations from me! Girl you worked hard, you deserve it! May Allah reward you for designing such modest pieces of clothing and inshallah bringing others to Islam
