…And a Hint of Print

Maxi Skirt Styling

hijab style denim shirt Maysaa jersey maxi skirt

In my Maysaa maxi skirt once again, I really do love that thing.  I felt a bit conflicted in this outfit, like I picked out a bit of every style and threw it together.  I quite like the effect though, once again playing to my erratic styling behavior.  And I even managed the slightest amount of colour, a big step for me.

The one thing you forgot to mention that makes me love this outfit is the necklace (or is that actually a necklace?) I really want to know where you got it from. If it’s vintage I will cry. :P

And I completely love that necklace! Yes, is it vintage!?

You should really post more pictures on which you just smile. Looks much better than the model poses. Lovely necklace, by the way, especially in combination with the black scarf. Salaams

Bad boy tats or what? Haha! At first glance it looked like you were revealing some heavily tattooed arms! Haha awesome look though, especially where you’re smiling!

It is a necklace, a vintage heirloom that belongs to my ma. Sorry to be a bearer of bad news girlies! I think she picked it up on her worldly travels somewhere, sadly I shall have to return in to her soon. They would be some bad ass tats, not that I approve of that sort of thing of course ;-) xx

This makes me think of old films. The look is riotous, but calm also — sort of utopian, art-deco futuristic in the lines… they remind me of Metropolis! But the edginess is pure Bladerunner. Coool.

I absolutely LOVE this look. So edgey and chic with a touch of rebel (the tatt sleaves). Are they detachable sleeves or is it part of the top? Thanks for sharing! <3
