Now this girl has a ton of attitude, her blog HoneyPokapoka is pretty darn awesome too.  Love the eclectic styling, and her use of colour, she’s just uberously cool. The fact she shares a love of Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe and Freja Beha Erichson kinda proves my point no? p.s. I nabbed the first pic off her blog (I hope you don’t mind I just loved what you were wearing!)

For a ‘Fraidy Cat

I’m definitely not an expert on colour as you will well know by now!  So I decided to keep it simple, and opt (chicken) out by keeping it to small flourishes.  The thing that keeps it me is the mid tone grey plaid shirt, it’s basically the wearable embodiment of a security blanket.  Once again loving my MAYSAA jersey maxi skirt and chiffon head scarf.  Oh and yes I do smile… occasionally. x

Have a looky at the team on set at the latest photo shoot for the Maysaa Magazine.  We worked with the amazing Dominic Clarke, I completely fell in love with his work, and we ended up with some stunning shots.  The lovely Justina was on hair and make-up, so happy we got to work with her again, she’s got skills!  Our lovely models from elite, my hubby (who took most of these pictures) and moi!  And of course, for the morning we were joined by the awesome Jerome Taylor from The Independent and his photographer.

Style Statement

As I may have mentioned I am on the hunt for the perfect leather jacket, although it’s kind of on hold due to the hot weather.  This one is almost there, but it’s not quite right, I need something a little more retro.

I miss blogging!  Right now I’m stuck into editing the MAYSAA magazine, but I decided to take a break to give you some long awaited pictures.

I’m doing a shoot with Grazia magazine tomorrow! Hmm, nervous and excited trying to pick some awesome outfits.  Scary stuff huh?

Was toying with the title Miss Independent, but no, here’s a quick snap taken yesterday on set at our shoot for MAYSAA magazine.  There’s still time to go Friday’s copy of The Independent featuring Me and Maysaa!  Had a great interview, and loved the article (in spite of the slightly dodgy photo!).  More behind the scenes photos to come.  I’m wearing and loving the Maysaa Bandage Waistband Jersey Maxi Skirt here, feels amazing to wear.  And if you like my t-shirt check out more from this awesome tee label:

I think I’m in love, what with the bright head scarf and beautiful styling,  mmmmm.  I will try and post as much as possible this week but I think it’s going to be one of those quick posting weeks.  I’m trying to get my head around styling for a shoot on the first, and trying not to psych myself out about my interview with The Independent.  But I will do my best. x
