Maysaa kimono

OK, so I didn’t go anywhere that would warrant me in my finery (the bank. I went to the bank).  So instead of getting to wear my pick of the sale today, I’m showing you rememories of a video I made once upon a time, and a girl wearing it far far better than I could.

Was £45 NOW ONLY £35 go get one and make your own rememories HERE

No.3 Pleat Front Wide Leg Trousers

Maysaa sale palazzo pants

Reaching a momentous moment right about now.  3 days left of the MAYSAA SALE and half way through my creme de la sale. These palazzo pants, a.k.a. Pleat front wide leg trousers are in at number 3 (I feel like I sound like I’m on Top of the Pops, like).  These are a couple of sizes too big and rolled up for styling effect.  Wearing different sizes gives a whole new ‘hang’ on the body.

Was £39 NOW ONLY £29 and you can find them HERE

Top 5 Sale Picks

No. 5 Jersey Maxi Dress

Maysaa Sale jersey polo maxi dress

So please excuse technology for not allowing me to post this yesterday, but here it is.  The LAST 5 DAYS of the MAYSAA SALE and me picking between my ‘children’ for favourites.  I’ve had to console myself by thinking not which is my favourite? but what do I want to wear today?

Maysaa Sale jersey maxi dress

The first is one I wore yesterday, I wore it yesterday because I’d been inspired by a wonderful girl I’d met at the Reflections event.  She looked stunning in it, and my head was telling me ’see this is why you design’.  Because the first thing I noticed was that she was (and she is) beautiful, the second was ‘holy crap that’s my dress’. (see how pretty)

p.s. I think I’m still on a 90’s kick judging by the colour editing.

A Little Thank You

MAYSAA Sale

To say a big thank you for supporting MAYSAA this past year (an incredibly exciting and wonderful year), and in welcoming another I am cordially inviting you to a SALE.  Apt since I’m rediscovering all the MAYSAA pieces I left here in Malaysia and still getting the giddy excitement as I did when I first stole them off my dress form (pins and all) to parade around my (conversely, very unglamorous) apartment in.

While writing this I was absentmindedly singing Sleeper // Sale Of The Century… The 90’s were kind of great.

Behind The Scenes

A Shoot

Once upon a time in Malaysia, we shot for the MAYSAA scarves.  If you’ve ever wondered what happens if you (a.k.a. guy with camera, a.k.a. Faris off of Ikanpaos Kolektif) film all access, and then you (a.k.a. I) edit it into just under a minute of behind the scenes footage, well wonder no more.  This is exactly that.

Continuing thanks to Faris, Bibo, Daya, Shareeta, and the rest of the gang.
