She’s a Princess

I love opening my inbox to find photos like this!  I just don’t know what to say, she’s beautiful, an incredibly readable writer, and her style is just wonderful and unique!!  I’m in love with the first picture, that knitted jumper is amazing, and this kind of mis-matched eclectic look can go so horribly wrong.  But not only does she rock it, she owns it.

OK, just reading that back, I think I should stop watching Britain’s Next Top Model.  Repeat, ‘I am not Elle Macpherson, I am not Elle Macpherson.’

Modest in Fashion

On top of the fact that I love Devon Aoki these images are so beautiful I had to share them. There is something dreamy about them, the relaxed styling is so simple and elegant Devon and David have definitely got the best out of the styling. Love love love it as you can probably tell. Long sleeves and maxi length, what more could you want. Perhaps loose draping and understated colours? These picks from the Karl Lagerfeld Autumn collection are muslimah friendly and quite ingenious layering!

London Style

I wore this for a lovely sushi dinner, it’s a dress by Ghost worn as a skirt. I dressed it down with a t-shirt and Zara blazer, really comfortable but still felt feminine. Sometimes all a Muslimah needs is a simple headscarf. It’s the first time in a long time that I got properly dressed up, I forgot how good it feels!

Understated Statement

This is such a beautiful and understated look, the full length skirt in particular is so elegant but manages to sit somewhere between evening and casual. The whole look works really well, just cover with a a cardigan or jacket and add a headscarf and you’ve got a beautiful muslimah outfit.
